The iconic Aquarius and Stratosphere properties have joined Best Western Hotels & Resorts Premier Collection in one of the largest deals in Best Western’s history. Whether it be the stunning panoramic views a top the Stratosphere tower or the wide variety of gaming options and state-of-the-art race and sports book of the Aquarius Casino Resort, Best Western will allow travelers visiting the monumental properties to take advantage of their generous loyalty program and provide American Casino Entertainment Properties with brand support and online platforms. American Casino and Entertainment Properties chose Best Western’s BW Premier collection for the properties, which include Las Vegas’ tallest structure and a 1,906-key resort in Laughlin, Nev.
Two prominent Nevada properties, the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas and the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, will now be part of Best Western’s BW Premier Collection brand. Best Western was selected by the properties’ owner, American Casino and Entertainment Properties (ACEP).
Located at 2000 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Stratosphere opened in 1996 and ranks as the city’s tallest structure, rising 1,149 feet above street level. The property includes an observation deck with 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding areas. The tallest observation tower in the U.S. encompasses a 24-hour casino with several dining options, lounges, two rooftop pools and a recently refurbished race and sports book.
Located at 1900 S. Casino Drive in Laughlin, Nev., Aquarius Casino Resort offers 1,906 guest rooms and a 57,000-square-foot casino with 1,250 modern slot machines and a state-of-the-art race and sports book. The property’s amenities also include multiple fine and casual dining options.

Best Western’s selection follows the announcement last month that Golden Entertainment Inc. plans to buy ACEP in an $850 million deal. Scheduled to close by the end of the year, that acquisition will include two other Las Vegas properties, Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, in addition to the Stratosphere and the Aquarius.
